Getting Started
SeerrClient connects to your existing Jellyseerr, Overseerr, or Seerr server. You do not need to change anything on your server — SeerrClient works with your current setup.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”Before you begin, you need:
- A running instance of Jellyseerr, Overseerr, or Seerr — accessible from your device over the network
- Your server URL — this can be a local IP address (
192.168.1.100), an IP and port (192.168.1.100:5055), a hostname, a local domain, or a public FQDN
You do not need to expose your server to the internet. SeerrClient works over your local network (Wi-Fi or Tailscale), or over HTTPS if your server is publicly accessible.
Setup overview
Section titled “Setup overview”Setting up SeerrClient takes less than two minutes:
- Install the app — free on the App Store (or build from source)
- Connect your server — enter your server URL; SeerrClient detects the backend type automatically
- Sign in — choose your auth method (Local, Plex OAuth, or Jellyfin/Emby) and log in
After signing in, you land in the main app — the Discover tab is loaded and ready.
Multiple servers
Section titled “Multiple servers”SeerrClient supports multiple saved servers. You can add your home server, a remote server, or a friend’s shared instance — all saved on device, switchable from the Server List screen.
