Requests
The Requests tab shows all media requests on your Seerr server. You can view, filter, create, approve, decline, and delete requests directly from SeerrClient.
Viewing requests
Section titled “Viewing requests”The Requests tab shows a list of all requests. Each card displays:
- The media poster thumbnail
- Title and type (Movie or TV Show)
- Who requested it
- When it was requested (relative date — “2 days ago”)
- Current status badge
Filtering requests
Section titled “Filtering requests”Use the filter chips at the top of the Requests screen to narrow the list:

Creating a request
Section titled “Creating a request”You can request any movie or TV show from its detail screen:
- Find the title via Discover or Search
- Tap the title to open its detail screen
- Tap the Request button at the bottom of the screen
Movie requests
Section titled “Movie requests”The request form for movies lets you:
- Choose a quality profile (Radarr quality profile) — the picker is hidden if your server only has one profile configured
- Toggle 4K if your server has a 4K Radarr instance configured
Tap Request to submit.
TV show requests
Section titled “TV show requests”The request form for TV shows lets you:
- Choose to request all seasons at once, or select specific seasons
- When selecting seasons, each season shows its current availability status so you can request only what is missing
- Choose a quality profile (Sonarr quality profile) — hidden if only one profile exists
- Toggle 4K if a 4K Sonarr instance is configured
Tap Request to submit.
Collection requests
Section titled “Collection requests”For TMDB movie collections (e.g. a film franchise), the collection detail screen lets you:
- See all movies in the collection with their availability status
- Select individual movies to request
- Use Select All to queue all unrequested movies at once
- Use Clear Selection to deselect everything
- Tap Request Selected to submit requests for the selected movies in order
Requests are submitted one at a time in the order they appear in the collection. Each successfully submitted request is marked pending in the UI immediately.
Admin controls
Section titled “Admin controls”If your Seerr account has admin privileges, you get additional controls:
Swipe actions
Section titled “Swipe actions”On the Requests list, swipe actions provide quick admin controls:
- Swipe right on a Pending request — Approve it immediately
- Swipe left on any request — Delete it
Request detail
Section titled “Request detail”Tap any request to open its detail screen. Admin controls appear in the detail view:
- Approve — approve a pending request
- Decline — decline a pending or approved request
- Delete — permanently remove the request
Owner controls
Section titled “Owner controls”If you submitted a request yourself, you can delete your own pending requests from the request detail screen, even if you are not an admin.
Request status lifecycle
Section titled “Request status lifecycle”| Status | Meaning |
