Discover
The Discover tab is the first thing you see after signing in. It shows the content discovery sliders configured by your Seerr server — the same sliders you see in the Seerr web UI.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”The Discover screen is a vertical stack of horizontal content rows. Each row is a slider for a specific category — for example:
- Trending Movies
- Popular TV Shows
- Now Playing
- Upcoming Movies
- Top Rated TV
The exact sliders depend on what your server administrator has configured. SeerrClient fetches the slider configuration from your server and renders them exactly as configured.
Navigating content
Section titled “Navigating content”Each slider shows a horizontal row of media cards. Each card displays:
- The poster image (fetched from TMDB)
- A status badge if the media has already been requested or is available in your library
Tap any card to open the media detail screen where you can view cast, episodes, recommendations, and make a request.
Scroll horizontally within a row to see more content in that category.
Refreshing
Section titled “Refreshing”Pull down on the Discover screen to refresh all sliders. The sliders reload their content from your server, pulling the latest data including any changes to your library’s availability status.
Status badges
Section titled “Status badges”Status badges on media cards tell you at a glance whether a title has been requested or is already in your library:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| No badge | Not requested |
| Pending | Request submitted, awaiting approval |
| Processing | Approved, being downloaded |
| Available | In your library |
| Declined | Request was declined |
Image loading
Section titled “Image loading”Poster images are loaded from TMDB (The Movie Database). If your device is offline or TMDB is unreachable, posters will show a placeholder. The rest of the app (including making requests) continues to work normally — poster loading is non-blocking.
