Watchlist
The Watchlist feature lets you view your Jellyfin watchlist directly inside SeerrClient and request anything on it without switching apps.
Accessing your watchlist
Section titled “Accessing your watchlist”The Watchlist tab appears in the bottom navigation bar when your server supports it. Tap it to load your Jellyfin watchlist.
If the Watchlist tab does not appear, your server either does not support it or it is not enabled. Check your server’s Jellyfin configuration.
Browsing your watchlist
Section titled “Browsing your watchlist”Your watchlist is displayed as a responsive poster grid:
- 3 columns on standard iPhone widths
- 2 columns on compact widths (older devices, split-screen)
Each poster shows the movie or TV show art. Tap any item to open its detail screen where you can request it, view cast and episode information, or see its availability status on your server.
Movies and TV Shows
Section titled “Movies and TV Shows”Use the segmented control at the top of the Watchlist screen to switch between:
- Movies — your watchlisted movies
- TV Shows — your watchlisted TV series
Each segment has its own independent scroll position and pagination state.
Pull-to-refresh
Section titled “Pull-to-refresh”Pull down on the Watchlist screen to reload your watchlist from Jellyfin. This is useful if you have recently added items to your watchlist in Jellyfin and want them to appear in SeerrClient immediately.
Infinite scroll
Section titled “Infinite scroll”Your watchlist loads a page at a time. As you scroll toward the bottom of the grid, the next page loads automatically.
Making requests from your watchlist
Section titled “Making requests from your watchlist”Tap any watchlist item to open its detail screen. From there, tap Request to submit a media request to your Seerr server. After a successful request, the item’s status badge updates immediately.
Watchlist vs. Requests
Section titled “Watchlist vs. Requests”Your Jellyfin watchlist and your Seerr requests are separate things:
- The Watchlist is a personal list of titles you want to watch — it lives in Jellyfin
- Requests are items you have asked your Seerr server to download — they go through Radarr/Sonarr
You can request something directly from your watchlist, but having an item on your watchlist does not automatically create a Seerr request.
